Creating Opportunities For Excellence Mentorship AcademyThe academy features influencers who mentors young women from 14 to 18 in various areas of their lives. Our mentees engage in a wide variety of experiences while working side by side with some of today’s influencers, community, and industry leaders. Through this academy, our mentees engage in Leadership Skill building, Decision Making, Anti-Bullying, Team Trust exercises, Self-worth Development, College Readiness, etc. The achievement of a mentoring experience depends on the contributions and commitment of everyone involved in the mentoring relationship; the organization, the parent/guardian, the mentee and the mentor. Darkness to Light Stewards of Children Prevention Professional Development SeminarLearn how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Stewards of Children is designed to increase knowledge, improve attitudes and promote child-protective behaviors. This revolutionary program is for any responsible adult who cares about the welfare of children. We want you to become confident and competent, knowing how to prevent sexual abuse and react skillfully if it occurs. Our staff will travel to your location to train you. Cooking with Chef Fe & ChristianOur culinary program is designed to inspire the love of cooking and expose young chefs age 10 - 17 to a variety of culinary techniques, foster an appreciation of cooking at home, and encourage independence and creativity in the kitchen. Teaching youth and their families to make healthier lifestyle choices while focusing on the common denominator of food to bridge cultural, social and economic divides among young people. Jr. CEO ProgramThis program is an innovative and exhilarating program that transforms middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Our year-long program, accepts students in grades 6-12 who would like to create business ideas, conduct market research, write business plans, pitch to a panel of investors, and launch their very own companies.
